Café Supervisor

St Andrew’s Church, Histon has an exciting opportunity to assist with the running of our café in the recently redeveloped St Andrew’s Centre.

Your main role will be to assist the Café Manager in the day to day running of the café. This may involve preparing food on site in the kitchen or helping front of house, so a versatile attitude is essential.

Working with a team of volunteers, you will help with training to ensure our customers receive the best possible service, food and drink.

If you are enthusiastic, enjoy working in a busy environment and have great people skills we would like to hear from you.

Previous experience in a hospitality operation is essential. You need to be able to demonstrate high standards of skills and be committed to serving great food and drink as well as being people-focused.

A Basic Food Hygiene qualification is required.

This will be a salaried position in the range of £14352 to £15600 depending on experience. Working hours will average 30 hours per week over 4 days between 8.30 – 16.45  Mon – Fri and will include alternate Saturdays 8.30 – 15.00

We may consider appointing two people to this role in a job-sharing arrangement.
